Best Companies to Hire Developers in Argentina

The Best Companies to Hire Software Developers in Argentina, by Partner Type, in 2026

Companies that place software developers in Argentina, compared for US teams: Hire With Near, BairesDev, BEON.tech, Revelo and more, by partner type and rating.

Key Takeaways

  1. The best companies to hire software developers in Argentina for a US company are Hire With Near, BairesDev, AgileEngine, BEON.tech, Revelo, and CloudDevs, covering five partner types: project outsourcing, dedicated teams, staff augmentation, freelance and contract marketplaces, and full-time hire.
  2. Choose the partner type before the company: how long you need the developer, who should own the work and the knowledge, how much management your team can take on, and how you want to pay decide which fits.
  3. Every company here has a 4.5 or higher rating from 50+ client reviews on one platform and names Argentina as a placement country; Hire With Near is the full-time hire option, and the others cover capacity, delivery, and short-term help.

The best companies to hire software developers in Argentina for a US company are Hire With Near, BairesDev, AgileEngine, BEON.tech, Revelo, and CloudDevs. Which one fits depends on the partner type you need: a developer who joins your own team for the long term, extra capacity for a few sprints, or a vendor that delivers the whole project.

Argentina gives US teams a deep developer market on a workable schedule. GitHub’s Innovation Graph counts about 1.6 million developer accounts there as of Q1 2026, up 31% in a year. The country runs on UTC-3 all year, one to two hours ahead of US Eastern time, and EF’s 2025 English Proficiency Index ranks it 26th globally and first in Latin America.

That market is why several of these companies have roots in it: BairesDev and BEON.tech were both founded in Buenos Aires, and the other four place Argentine developers as part of wider Latin American networks. That includes Hire With Near, a staffing and recruiting partner that counts Argentina among its top three countries for placements.

In this guide, I'll explain how the six companies were chosen and compare them by partner type and profiles for each one: what it does, who it fits, and how it prices the work. A plain-English guide to choosing the right partner type follows the profiles.

What Are the Best Companies to Hire Software Developers in Argentina?

Hire With Near places Argentine developers on your own team for the long term, BEON.tech and Revelo add developers to a team you already run, BairesDev and AgileEngine run managed teams or whole projects, and CloudDevs offers freelance, contract, and direct-hire routes.

The table below compares all six on partner type first, which decides who directs the work and whose team the developer is on, then on rating and the situation each one fits.

I included Hire With Near on this list, and I know I’m biased. I believe we have a good reason to be here: our model is built around placing an Argentine developer on your own team for the long term, reporting to you, with payroll and compliance handled if you want us to. That’s a different relationship from the staff augmentation firms and project vendors next to us, which is why I compare all six on partner type first.

I wouldn’t know which company is best for your business, because the right option depends on your needs and constraints, and only you know those. This list is here to give you clear, direct information so you can build a shortlist and decide who’s worth a conversation.

Hire With Near

Hire With Near home page

Best for full-time developers you plan to keep on your own team.

Hire With Near is a full-service staffing and recruiting agency that helps US companies hire top-performing remote talent in Latin America across all departments and industries, including software engineering. For developers, that means full-time software engineers who join your team long-term and take direction from your managers.

You can employ them directly, or use our staffing model, where we handle payroll, contracts, and compliance. We evaluate your situation, the role, and where the developer will be based, and set up the hire to comply with local rules.

Argentina is a big part of that work. In Hire With Near's 2026 State of LatAm Hiring Report, the country was one of the three locations where we placed the most IT and engineering hires. It accounted for 21% of all our placements from October 2024 to October 2025.

Although we don't run an Argentine office, we have local recruiters specializing in tech roles who work that market every week, placing full-stack developers, back-end developers, front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and many more.

Vetting starts on the kick-off call, where our recruiters push on your must-haves, nice-to-haves, and deal-breakers, and on what success looks like in the role. Julieta Gorodetzky, Tech Recruiter at Hire With Near, explains how the process adapts from there:

We have our standard process, but we tailor it to each company: whether they have people to interview, whether they've hired for IT roles before. On the kick-off call we ask, 'Are there specific questions you'd like us to ask?' We work with all different types of clients, so we're always adapting to whatever they need and whatever works best for them.

‍

We source from a pool of 160,000+ candidates and run fresh sourcing for each role. On 84% of our engineering searches, the first shortlist arrives within five days of kick-off, and most of our clients hire in under three weeks.

We fill 97% of the roles we take on, 80% of our hires stay 2+ years, and our client satisfaction score is 9.1. On G2, reviewers mention candidate quality and communication most often. The most common criticism is cost.

We're also ranked No. 118 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

Direct hires through Hire With Near are backed by a 180-day replacement guarantee: if a hire doesn't work out in that window, we find a replacement at no additional cost. Under our staffing model, replacements have no time limit.

ParkMobile shows the model in practice. The parking app, used in more than 4,200 cities across 21 countries, had relied on agency developers for its back-end and platform work for years and wanted senior engineers on its own team instead. We placed nine senior engineers based in Colombia on its team, with a 24-day average time-to-hire, and helped the company save more than $1 million a year against US rates.

Akshay Gokarnakar, ParkMobile’s Talent Acquisition Team Lead, describes how the collaboration worked in the video below:

If you want one vendor to own delivery of a whole project, BairesDev or AgileEngine is the better call. If you need an extra developer for a sprint or two and plan to roll them off, BEON.tech, Revelo's month-to-month terms, or CloudDevs fit better. We're built for developers you intend to keep.

BairesDev

BairesDev home page

Best for large or fast-growing engineering needs, from one developer to a full project.

According to its dedicated Argentina page, BairesDev offers three ways to work with its Argentine engineers. On an outsourced project or a dedicated nearshore team, BairesDev manages the developers and the delivery. With staff augmentation, its engineers join your team and take direction from your managers, while BairesDev handles payroll and compliance.

BairesDev says its developers come from a bench of 4,000+ engineers and that it can onboard senior developers in two to four weeks.

On Clutch, clients single out the quality of its engineers, attentive account management, and how easily it scales a team up or down as the workload changes.

Whichever model you pick, you work with BairesDev as a vendor, and that relationship continues for as long as the work does. It suits a company that wants a partner managing engineering capacity over time more than one looking to bring a developer onto its own team for good.

We cover pricing, vetting, and guarantees in our Hire With Near vs. BairesDev comparison.

Rating: 4.9/5 on Clutch (60+ reviews)

AgileEngine

AgileEngine home page

Best for dedicated engineering teams, with product and feature delivery when you need it.

AgileEngine can take on as much of the delivery as you want to hand over. Its engineers can join your team and work from your backlog and process. The company can also run a dedicated team for you, or take on product and feature delivery with a fully managed cross-functional team of its own. Whichever you choose, you work through one contract with AgileEngine, which manages its own engineers.

Argentina is one of the 15+ global talent hubs listed on its homepage, alongside Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil in the Americas, plus hubs across Europe and Asia. That spread is useful if you want developers in Argentina now and room to add other locations later.

AgileEngine also says some of its client relationships have run for a decade, which fits its focus on long-term engagements. Its Clutch reviews keep coming back to the quality of its deliverables, its project management, and how easily it adapts to each client's needs.

AgileEngine works in software engineering only. With hubs on three continents, it suits a company comfortable with a multi-country vendor, so if you want every developer based in Argentina, say so on the first call.

Rating: 5.0/5 on Clutch (65+ reviews)

BEON.tech

BEON.tech home page

Best for adding experienced engineers to an existing team.

BEON.tech was founded in Buenos Aires in 2018. According to its Argentina staff augmentation page, it handles contracts, payroll, and compliance for the Argentine engineers it places, bills a monthly fee per engineer, and backs each hire with a three-month replacement guarantee.

BEON.tech says it can help you build your team in as little as seven days, and that its pre-vetting lets only the top 1% of the developers it screens reach your shortlist. It also describes retention programs for its engineers, including career mentorship and professional development, which matters if you want the same people on your product for the long run.

Clients on Clutch tend to highlight its responsiveness, engineers who integrate into their teams like internal staff, and delivery that meets deadlines.

Scope is the main constraint. BEON.tech places software engineers only, and some reviewers say they would like a bigger candidate pool for specialized roles.

Rating: 4.9/5 on Clutch (70+ reviews)

Revelo

Revelo home page

Best for month-to-month developer capacity with a trial period.

Revelo's model is also staff augmentation: developers join your team full-time and take direction from your managers, while Revelo handles payroll, benefits, and compliance. Engagements run month-to-month with no long-term lock-in and every hire comes with a 14-day risk-free trial.

According to its Argentina page, Revelo covers payroll and taxes across 18 countries in Latin America.

Revelo says it delivers a shortlist of three to five pre-vetted candidates within 72 hours, from a network it puts at 400,000+ developers.

Client reviews on G2 credit its pre-screening most: shortlists arrive already checked for technical skills and English, so a hiring manager has less sifting to do.

Month-to-month terms suit a roadmap that may change. If you plan to keep a developer for years, more of the work of building continuity falls to your own team.

We cover pricing, recruiter support, and short-term versus long-term fit in our Hire With Near vs. Revelo comparison.

Rating: 4.8/5 on G2 (160+ reviews)

CloudDevs

CloudDevs home page

Best for short-term, part-time, or freelance developer help.

CloudDevs is a developer marketplace and the most flexible option on this list for short-term needs. You choose full-time or freelance developers, sign a rolling week-to-week or annual contract, and direct the work yourself. CloudDevs handles the matching and any replacements.

The company works in Latin America only. According to its Argentina hiring page, it can match you with developers within 24 hours and deliver a personalized shortlist within 48 hours, and its senior developers have at least five years of experience.

CloudDevs also says there’s no minimum commitment and no deposit, that every developer starts with a one-week risk-free trial, and that it will replace a developer for free at any point.

Clients reviewing CloudDevs on G2 mostly praise two things: the quality of the vetted developers and how fast the matching happens.

Week-to-week terms suit bounded tasks and part-time help. A core product role you plan to staff for years usually calls for a longer-term model.

Rating: 4.9/5 on G2 (165+ reviews)

How Do You Choose the Right Partner Type for Software Developers in Argentina?

When looking at Argentina for software engineering work, the partner type matters more than the company itself, so start with how you want the work to run. Four questions settle it:

  • How long do you need this developer? Weeks or a few sprints points to staff augmentation or a marketplace. Years points to a full-time hire.
  • Who should own the work and the knowledge? With project outsourcing or a dedicated team, the vendor's people hold it. With a full-time hire, it stays on your team. According to the McKinsey Global Tech Agenda 2026, nearly half of top-performing companies plan to increase insourcing over the next two years, compared with 37% of other organizations, to bring strategic technology expertise back in-house. In McKinsey's words, "outsourcing builds capacity, but insourcing builds capability."
  • How much management can your team take on? None points to project outsourcing, some to a dedicated team, and full management to staff augmentation or a full-time hire.
  • How do you want to pay? An ongoing monthly rate that includes the vendor's margin suits short or uncertain needs. A one-time hiring fee plus a salary you control suits roles you plan to keep for years, and our guide to IT salaries in Latin America covers the salary side.

Hire With Near's analysis of 300 calls with US companies hiring engineers found that roughly 45% are leaving an offshore team in a distant time zone (30%) or a development outsourcing firm (15%). They're moving to a nearshore model in Latin America, with engineers on their own team.

Offshore teams and outsourcing firms ship good software for plenty of companies, so the shift is about ownership and distance. Many companies also combine models: a staff augmentation developer to clear a backlog now, full-time hires for the core team.

Here are the main partner types:

Project outsourcing

With project outsourcing, you hand over a defined scope, and the vendor builds it with its own team and manages delivery through its project manager. It fits a fixed-scope build with a deadline, a company without in-house engineering leadership, or a specialization you won't need again.

The trade-off: when the engagement ends, the knowledge of how the product was built leaves with the vendor's team.

On this list, BairesDev and AgileEngine take on project delivery, and we've compared Argentina's software development outsourcing firms separately.

Dedicated team

A dedicated team is a group of developers the vendor assembles to work only on your product, usually led by the vendor's own delivery manager. You set the direction, and the vendor handles the people and the management layer.

It's also built for scale: a dedicated team can grow from a few developers to a full squad under one contract, while staff augmentation and full-time hiring usually add developers one at a time.

The trade-off is distance: your requirements pass through the vendor's delivery manager, which is why clear documentation matters in any outsourced development team.

On this list: BairesDev and AgileEngine.

Staff augmentation

With nearshore staff augmentation, a vendor's developer joins your team, attends your stand-ups, and takes direction from your managers, while the vendor handles the contract, payroll, and compliance. It's often the fastest way to add capacity for a sprint, a backlog, or a launch. It's also one of the most common models among nearshore staffing companies.

One US company with its own engineering team, adding senior developers ahead of a launch, put it this way:

We already have our own flow... we'd love to add one or two people to our group, be in our stand-ups, and kind of be an augment of our team versus us outsourcing.

‍

The trade-off: you pay the vendor's ongoing margin on top of the developer's pay, and knowledge builds slowly if developers rotate.

Among the Argentina software developer staffing companies on this list, BEON.tech, Revelo, BairesDev, and AgileEngine offer it.

Freelance and contract marketplaces

Marketplaces offer self-serve matching for bounded tasks or part-time help, often with a short trial, and you direct the work task by task. Lists of the best sites to hire software developers in Argentina usually feature them.

The trade-off is continuity. Quality varies by person, and a freelancer may be splitting time across clients, so ask whether the developer will work full-time on your project.

On this list, CloudDevs offers full-time or freelance developers on week-to-week terms. For a core role you plan to keep, a recruiter screens and shortlists candidates for the long term, which a self-serve marketplace doesn't.

Our guide to alternatives to freelance platforms in Latin America compares the options.

Full-time hire on your team

With a full-time hire, a recruiting partner finds, screens, and shortlists candidates, and the developer joins your team long-term, building knowledge that stays with your company.

It's the right model for core product roles you intend to keep for years, the kind of search recruiting for SaaS companies is built around.

With several senior searches open at once as it moved into enterprise accounts, a digital product studio with a long-running engineering team in Argentina hired a senior full-stack engineer to own back-end architecture. That engineer now leads the back-end work for an enterprise account and mentors other engineers on the team.

The trade-off: it takes weeks to hire and you're responsible for managing the developer. The recruiting partner screens on the role's must-haves, experience, and communication, and your own team runs the technical interview and makes the call. If you’re building that interview now, see how hiring managers are testing developers for AI skills.

On this list, Hire With Near works this way: as a direct hire or through our staffing model, where we handle payroll, contracts, and compliance.

Weighing up the options

Match the partner type to who should direct the work and how long you need the developer:

Partner Types for Developers in Argentina, at a Glance
Partner Type Who Directs the Day-to-Day Work Typical Commitment When It Fits
Project outsourcing The vendor's delivery team and project manager A defined scope, usually a few months A fixed-scope build with a deadline, or no in-house engineering leadership
Dedicated team You set direction; the vendor manages the team Ongoing, often a year or more A product that needs a full team without building the management layer
Staff augmentation Your own managers Weeks to months, extendable Extra capacity for a sprint, a backlog, or a launch
Freelance or contract marketplace You, task by task Task-based or part-time, often week to week Bounded tasks and part-time help
Full-time hire on your team Your own managers Long-term, usually years Core product roles you plan to keep

How I Chose These Companies

I only included companies rated 4.5 or above from at least 50 client reviews on one established review platform: G2, Clutch, Trustpilot, GoodFirms, or ClearlyRated. I didn't combine counts across platforms.

Then came the test specific to this article. I checked each company's own website on October 21, 2026: every company here names Argentina as a country where it places software developers, and a US company can work with it directly.

That’s why Globant, one of Argentina’s best-known technology companies, isn’t on this list: it focuses on large-scale software and digital transformation programs for enterprise clients, so it sits outside this list of companies that put developers on a US team. It’s in our roundup of software development companies in Argentina instead.

A few well-known names are also absent because their public client reviews don't yet reach that bar.
